The Alliance of Defence Service Organisations (ADSO), more commonly called “The Alliance”, comprises some of Australia’s major military past service organisations: the Defence Force Welfare Association (DFWA); the Naval Association of Australia (NAA); the Royal Australian Regiment Associations/Corporation (RARC); the Australian Special Air Services Association (ASASA); and the RAAF Association (RAAFA). They provide member support services to the Defence Family of past and current serving men and women and their families.

The Alliance represents a significant number of members of Australia’s Defence Family on national advocacy and representative matters to the Australian Parliament and all political parties. 

Our aim is to promote and protect the conditions and wellbeing of the Defence Family.

What is Stand To About?

“Stand To “is a military call to action. It is used to raise the alarm to alert people to prepare to defend against threats to them, their safety and welfare.

The Stand To web site is  ADSO’s Fair Go Campaign’s voice to Australians. It is  an essential element of its strategy to protect the interests of the Defence Family and to raise public awareness of those matters that adversely impact on them.

The Defence Family embraces  over three  million Australians.

The "Fair Go!" Campaign is party apolitical. ADSO engages directly with the Government and political parties to achieve its aims. By necessity it operates within the political arena on an issues basis.
