Extension to ADF Reserve Members

Membership of the military superannuation scheme for the ADF reserve is restricted to members on continuous full time service, with most therefore not eligible.
We want the Government to legislate for MSBS membership for all ADF reserve members; and that the Commonwealth employer contribution of 9% under the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992 be available to all reserve service not presently covered.

To have the Government legislate MSBS membership for all ADF reserve members; and that the Commonwealth employer contribution of 9% under the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration ) Act 1992 be available to all reserve service would be great however APS now get 14% employer contribution, they require no fitness and do not go to war like zones or peace keeping areas. Maybe reserve members would be better off if they were covered under the APS scheme.
Doesn't seem right does it !!!.
